If anyone had asked me what movie I thought would win top prize at the Oscars last night, I would have picked "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". I know the favorite was "Slumdog Millionaire" but I had not seen it and I LOVED!!! "...Benjamin Button". Well I just got back from seeing "Slumdog Millionaire" and I have to say...IT WAS FABULOUS!!! GREAT MOVIE!!!! GO SEE WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE!!! Go see both of these movies!! Both are worth it! I also spent the weekend watching "Steel Magnolias" Wow! I had never seen it before and I loved it!! I am movied out right now though. I need to find a few good books to read before the next good movie comes out. Happy Monday to all!

I am going to do something today that I have NEVER done. I was born and raised in South Louisiana and have never lived anywhere else but Louisiana and I have NEVER seen the movie "Steel Magnolias"!!! I am going to do it today. If you have seen this movie, did you love it as much as most of my friends love it? I'm sure that I won't be disappointed. So here I go...

I think I may be a little obsessed with dog charms for my dogs!!!

Ever had one of those days when you have sparks coming out of your oven while trying to cook dinner, husband calls on the way home from work to tell you that the radiator in his truck just busted and son comes home from school and says that the brakes on his truck are squealing?? NO! YOU NEVER HAD ONE OF THOSE DAYS??? Well, lucky you!
I'm glad I had a supply of diet coke on hand or I don't think I could have survived!!

HAPPY GROUND HOG'S DAY!!! Yes, I decorate for everything!! It's rainy here but I hope the day is bright and pleasant where you are!!

Well today I cleaned up our Master Bedroom. Not just dusting and vacuuming but closet and drawer cleaning too. You know the "I need to get rid of some of this stuff so I can get more stuff" cleaning!! When I was all done I started dusting. When I got to my treadmill (I keep it in my bedroom so that I will see it everyday and remember to get on it every once in a while!!) well anyway---when I started to dust it I realized that the belt (you know the part where your feet go and you are suppose to move along with it) needed to be dusted also. ITS A SAD DAY WHEN YOU HAVE TO DUST THE BELT OF YOUR TREADMILL!!!

This is Sabrina. She is the youngest. Energetic. Happy. Tough as Nails!! She is a Pitt Bull in a Maltese body.

This is Gracie. She is IN LOVE with my husband. She adores him so much. When he is in the room she does not take her eyes off of him. She should be a lap dog but she would rather climb up to your neck and cuddle there. She is very quite and reserved. Not to playful but sometimes we can get her to hop around.

They are so much fun. I can't imagine my life without them!!

Hello! This is my 1st post on my new blog and I am not sure what I should talk about so I will try to show you what I have been up to this week. Decorating!! I live in Southern Louisiana so I decorate for Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day at the same time. I kept my Christmas tree up, packed up Christmas ornaments and hung Mardi Gras stuff.
